It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Henry D. Hulbert of Troupsburg, New York, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Hulbert and Gladys Hulbert (Thomas); his sister Dora Hulbert; his brothers-in-law, Orlo Ives, Nathan Ives and Donald Ives (Jeannie); his in-laws, Orlo and Lucy Ives; and his siblings, Joyce, Donald Hulbert and J. Elliott Hulbert.
He is survived by: his wife Millie Hulbert (Ives); his children, Jane Ficiur (Rob) of Alberta, Karen Smith (Michael) of Whitesville, NY and Dan Hulbert (Colene) of Arkport; his grandchildren, Jennifer Cochran (Brian), Andrew Hulbert (Danielle), Jared Ficiur (Taylor), Brett Ficiur (AJ), Michael Smith, Brian Ficiur (Robyn), Amy Hall (Tylor), Spencer Ficiur (Caron), Holly Laurie (Trevor), Aaron Hulbert (Kim) and Tyler Ficiur; and his sisters-in-law, Ann Hulbert and Darlene Hulbert.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the H. P. Smith & Son, Inc. Funeral Home - Woodhull (1607 Main St, Woodhull, NY 14898). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations are suggested for either the Troupsburg Baptist Church or the Greenwood Fire Dept.
