She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Tallmadge and Anna Tallmadge (Sellick); her husband Harry W. Newkirk Jr.; her siblings, Virgil Tallmadge, Percy Tallmadge (Harriet), Thelma Lampkin (Charles) and Evelyn Grandy (Charles); and her brother-in-law Charles Newkirk.
She is survived by: her children, Mark W. Newkirk of Tribes Hill, Eileen M. Lynaugh (David) of Gloversville and Kathleen Newkirk of Fresno, CA; her sister Janet Sievert of Gloversville; her sisters-in-law, Sharon Tallmadge of Auriesville and Janet Newkirk of Sprakers; her grandchildren, Matthew Lynaugh (Marie), Jade DeGuair and Jordan DeGuair (Jess); her great grandchildren, Mila and Nyla; and her godson Joseph Barbuti. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
