“Condolences on your loss. I met Vinny at Stony Brook in 1967. We worked together in Polity and on Statesman. Fast forward 40 years, and we met again as advocates for NYC workers and retirees. I always enjoyed our conversations because Vinny combined optimism with objective analysis.
