William L. Ryan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 24, 2024, at the age of 74, William L. Ryan (Tonawanda, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ryan and Jean "Fran" Ryan; and his sibling Thomas Ryan Jr. (Kathleen). He is survived by: his wife Donna R. Ryan; his daughters, Maureen Ryan (Steven Cummings), Gretchen Steinborn (Joseph) and Erika Curran (Daniel); his grandsons, Joseph and James Steinborn; and his brother Robert Ryan (Clarice). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home - Amherst (885 Niagara Falls Blvd, Buffalo, NY 14226). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd, Amherst (near Eggert/Sheridan) on Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM where the funeral will be held on Thursday morning at 10:00 o'clock. donations may be made in William's memory to The McGuire Group Journeys Program, Attention Barbara Johnson at Harris Hill Nursing Facility, 2699 Wehrle Dr., Williamsville, NY 12221.
