We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2025, at the age of 92, Walter Martin Zimberg of Tonawanda, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Walter Martin find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Martin Zimberg and Martha Dorothea (Heinzig); his wife Susan Marie (Seils); and his son Paul Martin. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Louise and Susan Ruth Sorensen (Shaun); and his grandsons, Nathan Sorensen (Air Force), Mark Sorensen (Army) and Stephan Sorensen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Trinity Lutheran Church (1570 Niagara Falls Blvd, Tonawanda, NY 14150). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
