With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laurie Hartman (Tonawanda, New York), who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Laurie may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Welch and Helen Welch; and her brother Jonathan Welch (Ann). She is survived by: her husband James Hartman; her children, James "Mac" Hartman (Amber) and Elizabeth "Libby" Hartman; and her grandchildren, Kiley and Alex Hartman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tonawanda Chapel (2600 Sheridan Dr, Tonawanda, NY 14150).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to the Buffalo Zoo or a local animal shelter in her memory.
