With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathleen R. Greenawalt (Tonawanda, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Scott Greenawalt (Amy); her parents, Harriet Wheaton and Richard Wheaton; her sisters, Brenda Wheaton and Patricia Endres (Ray); and her nephew Bill Vanderslice.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Greenawalt; her daughter Carrie Grant (Michael); her grandchildren, Kindra Castillo (Joshua), Allison Villalta (Eric), Alexis Swanson (Kevin) and Laura Grant; her great grandchild Eliza Castillo; her brother Richard; and her nieces and nephews, Mark Zawistowski (Janice), Joe Zawistowski (Katie), Samantha Pacana (Matt), June Piette (Tony) and Marcia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John O. Roth Funeral Home (25 William St, Tonawanda, NY 14150). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (149 Broad St, Tonawanda, NY 14150).
