He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert E. Maess and Beverly Maess (Rea). He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Maess; his siblings, Eric Maess (Deborah), Karen Neuer (Walter), Audie Maess (Lisa), Andrew Maess (Nancy), Susan Mazur (Martin) and Darren Maess (Michelle); his grandchild Mya; and his girlfriend Cheryl Bach. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
