He was predeceased by: his wife Betty J. Miles. He is survived by: his children, Mark W. Miles and Deborah K. Schottmiller (Harry); his grandchildren, Shaun, Sarah, Jonna (Sean Price, Sr.), Daniel and Alisha Schottmiller (Eric Martinez) of North Tonawanda; his great grandchildren, Sean Jr. Jackson, Layla, Evelyn, Amara and Raya; and his friend Carolyn Wozniak (Bobby).
