It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine J. Tornabene (Tonawanda, New York), who passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dominic J. Tornabene; her daughter Deborah; and her parents, John Busalacchi and Frances Busalacchi. She is survived by: her sons, Steven (Shiela) and Martin (Charlene). She is also survived by 10 siblings; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Amelia Church (2999 Eggert Rd, Tonawanda, NY 14150). An entombment was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (4000 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo, NY 14217).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo Inc. or the Alzheimer's Association, Western New York Chapter.
