She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Melber; her parents, Ferdinand Philipps and Marie Philipps; her siblings, Marie Phillips (Jerry), John Philipps (Nancy) and Joey Philipps; and her sisters-in-law, Helene Spahn (Joe), Catherine Sass (Rudy) and Betty Koziolek (Fritz).
She is survived by: her children, Joe Melber (Fran), Mary Hyla (Jack), Mike Melber (Leesa), Audrey Wood (Bill), Bob Melber (Marie Trunzo) and Ed Melber (Patti); her grandchildren, Joey (Courtney), Andy (Fran), Christine (Billy), Meg (Carson), Max, Zach, Jamie (Yen), Nick (Tequila), Eddy (Lauren), Trisha (Alex), Tim (Christine) and Grace; her great grandchildren, Joey, Savannah, Toby, Isabel, Addilyn, Lena, Aurora, Parker, Madison, Scarlett and Caroline; her sibling Ferd Philipps (late Mary); and her sister-in-law Sue Melber (late George).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home - Amherst (885 Niagara Fls Blvd, Amherst, NY 14226). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Amelia RC Church (2999 Eggert Rd, Tonawanda, NY 14150). A burial will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (4000 Elmwood Ave, Kenmore, NY 14217).
