He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph F. Gardner and Blanche Swart Gardner; his wife Marie A. Gardiner; his daughter Kerrianne Gardner-Dixit; and his sister Nancy Perotti.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jacqueline and Melissa Gardner; and his grandchildren, Auston, Juston, Daniel Stanhope, Gavin, Maya Dixit and Elias Maillet. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
