He was predeceased by: his mother Dawn Simmons of Kingston, NY.. He is survived by: his father Douglas Terhune of New Milford, CT; his brothers, Nicholas Terhune of Poughkeepsie, NY and Thomas Terhune of Austin, TX; and his grandparents, Richard and Joann Fosby. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to the family, for Moving Mountains Recovery, in Daniel's memory.
