She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. McEvoy and Iona Christiana McEvoy; and her husband William H. Sammis. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Hasbrouck (Allen) of Tillson and William J. Sammis of Tillson; and her granddaughter Kaitlyn Curran. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
