She was predeceased by: her husband Walter R. VanDemark; her parents, Helen M. Wolfarth (Singler) and Charles J. Wolfarth; and her boyfriend Harry L. Whitehill of Eustis, FL. She is survived by: her children, Charles VanDemark and Cara VanDemark (Anthony Castelonia); her sisters, Eileen Arcarola and Madeline Schatzberg; and her close friends, Marylou Seablom (Donald Seablom), Barbara Grant (Phil Grant), Virginia Carrig and Joanne Furman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many other family members, friends and surrogate children.
