She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Donald Clyde and Gayle Burks Jackson; her husband Edmond; her children, Nancy Spooner (Thomas) of Kenai, A. K., Kathleen Guido (Gary) of Tillson, N. Y. and Edmond Ewin, Jr. (Carol) of Poughquag, N. Y.; and her brother Donald Jackson. She was also cherished by 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Hudson Valley Hospice.
