It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Yastion of Tillson, New York, born in Wyano, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominick Yastion and Stella Yastion (Zedick). He is survived by: his wife Lyla Yastion of Tillson, NY; his sons, John Yastion (Magda) of Highland Mills, NY and James Yastion (Ronnie) of New Paltz, NY; his grandsons, Mark, Adam, Jonah and Eli; his sister Dolores Maffei of Pittsburgh, PA; his niece Christina Steggert (Donald); and his nephews, Dan (Deb), Kurt (Suzanne) and Brad Maffei.

Edward contracted Alzheimer's disease almost four years ago but his courage in the face of this debilitating disease was marked.
