He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred H. Whitaker and Minnie Maye Soper Whitaker; his wife Dorene L. Cables Whitaker; his brother Robert Whitaker of Palm Coast, FL.; his sons, Billy Miller (Lillian) of Bloomington and Christopher Whitaker (Carol) of Tillson; his grandchildren, Meghan Miller of Tillson, Liam Miller of Tillson, Kevin, Cadence and Payton; and his pet Sadie. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
