It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Juliette Tatro of Ticonderoga, New York, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Paquette and Alice Paquette (Rheaume); her grandson Keith Tatro; and her brothers, Maurice, Emile and Robert Paquette.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Tatro; her children, Mac Tatro (Denise) of Queensbury, Pamela Smith (Steven) of Ticonderoga and Leana Persing (Brian) of Maryland; her sister Lucile Cousino of Vermont; her sister-in-law Joyce Paquette of Vermont; her grandchildren, Travis Tatro, Trista Smith, Amanda Swinyer, Britni Casagrain, Emily Collins, Lucas Wilson, Shelbie Prouty and Kylie Persing; her great grandchildren, Madison Smith, Jacob Pfeiffer, Bailey Pfeiffer, Isabella Swinyer, Grayson Swinyer, Kenzi Casagrain, Levi Casagrain and Jack Mayhay; and her great great grandchild Carter Collard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
After COVID, it was FaceTime and parking lot visits to her apartment and phone calls that kept her through.
