He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bessett (Bud) and Mary Agnes Bessett Tennien (Kenefick); and his niece Sarah Bessett. He is survived by: his wife Colleen Bessett (Tierney); his daughter Molly Bechard (Dave); his grandson David Adrien Bechard Jr. (Shannon Jordan); his great grandchild Lakeland Allen Bechard; and his siblings, Juliann Rooker, Daniel Bessett (Karen), Edward Bessett (Holly) and James Bessett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
