He was predeceased by: his parents, George Liddell and Jennie Liddell (Stanczyk); his sister Ramona; his brother-in-law Robert McCaughin; and his cousin Suzanne Gilbo.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Roark; his children, Heidi Fitzgerald (Martin), Richard Liddell (Kathy), Gregory Liddell (Kristen) and Ted Liddell (Jason); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Michael Fitzgerald, Regan, Paige Liddell and Iris Londo-Liddell; his brother Joseph Liddell (Kathy); his cousin MaryJo Foley (Ed); and his siblings-in-law, Joan Harland and Rolland Miner (Bud). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Richard Liddell to the Wood Library/Reading Garden (woodlibrary.org) or to the charity of one's choice.
