It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Napoleon J. Lapoint of Ticonderoga, New York, born in Cambridge, New York, who passed away on September 30, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Napoleon LaPoint and Eileen LaPoint (Kama); his wife Margaret "Peggy" LaPoint (Benway); and his siblings, Francis LaPoint, Dorothy McGreevy and Theresa McMorrow.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Benway, Sr. (Heidi) and Kathy Harris (Barry); his brother-in-law William "Bill" Benway; and his grandchildren, Sarah Benway Kijowski, Michelle Benway Terbeek, Kevin Benway, Jr., Christina Harris, Peter Benway and Margaret Grace Benway. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
