He was predeceased by: his father Louis M. Abare, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy E. Abare (Brooks) of Ticonderoga, NY; his brothers, John Abare (Rosa) of Peru, NY, Zephyrhills and James "Jim" Abare (Judy) of Strafford, NH; and his stepdaughter Nichole Hunsdon-Thatcher of Crown Point. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
