He was predeceased by: his parents, James Russell and Hilda Russell (Benway). He is survived by: his wife Linda R. Russell (Duval); his children, John Russell, Jr (Victoria) of Crown Point and Renee Swinton (Brian Kennedy) of Hague; and his grandchildren, Jarrett, Ryan, Christopher, Fallon and Brady.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Ticonderoga Emergency Squad.
