It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gilda (Blood Belden) Namer of Ticonderoga, New York, who passed away at the age of 91, on January 12, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard "Pete" and Florence "Pat" Blood (Thatcher); her former husband Frederick Namer; and her siblings, Franklin Blood, Gordon Blood, Richard Blood and Rosalie Treadway.
She is survived by: her sons, Kent Belden (Dawn), Dale Belden (Lorraine) and Boyd Belden (Sandi); her grandsons, Tyler, Chad and Brendan; her brother Dane Blood of Florida; and her husband Fred. She is also survived by seven step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends.
As per Gilda's request, there will be no calling hours and due to the present COVID pandemic, there will be no services at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of the First United Methodist Church of Ticonderoga.
