It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Marie Malaney (Ticonderoga, New York), who passed away on February 3, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Marie (Sweet) and Francis Hopkins; her husband Thomas W. Malaney; her daughter Ann Elizabeth Pigeon; her sisters, Barbara Francisco and Jean Hopkins; and her sons-in-law, Thomas Rainone and Michael Andersen.
She is survived by: her children, Patty (Frank Price), Tommy Malaney (Betsy Baxter), Colleen Rainone (Mike Dempsey), Carolyn Andersen, Bill (Sally Malaney) and Tim (Frances Malaney); her daughter-in-law Deb Malaney; her sisters, Helen Johnson and Frances Arthur; and her grandchildren, Brian, Scott Price, Erica Harrington, Aidan Yates, Thomas Malaney, Rebecca Gallagher, Matt Audet, Jarad, Joel Andersen, Jayna McLoughlin, Luke, Logan Malaney, Claire Pichot, Kaleigh Malaney, Randy, Shawn, Teddy Pigeon, Jesse, Patrick Malaney, Mark Iverson and John Tilelli. She is also survived by thirty great-grandchildren; and countless nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice, or to one of Carolyn's favorites – St. Mary's School of Ticonderoga, Ticonderoga Alumni Association, Friends Comforting Friends, or the Ticonderoga Golf Corporation.
