Alberta Florence Sharkey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2020, at the age of 86, Alberta Florence Sharkey of Ticonderoga, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Alteri and Bertha Alteri (Baker); her husband Patrick Sharkey; her grandson Michael "Mikey" Sharkey; and her brothers, Eugene Alteri and John Alteri.
She is survived by: her children, John Sharkey of Ticonderoga, James Sharkey (Theresa) of Ticonderoga, Michael Sharkey, Patrick Sharkey, Jr. of Ticonderoga, Paul Sharkey of Ticonderoga and Karen Sharkey of Ticonderoga; her sisters, Mary Manning, Leona Badke and Antoinette "Toni" Mott; and her grandchildren, Brooke Taylor (Justin), Elana Parker (Chuck), Kara Sharkey, Christopher Bennett, Jr. and Destany Sharkey. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Alberta's memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society or St. Mary's School, 64 Amherst Avenue, Ticonderoga, NY 12883.
