With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Margaret Eckett of Throop, New York, born in Watertown, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Margaret left this world on August 29, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Eleanor Morse; her son William Joseph Eckett; and her son-in-law James P. Barnes. She is survived by: her husband James W. Eckett; her daughters, Ann-Marie Barnes (Eckett) and Margaret Weston (Peggy Eckett); her daughter-in-law Becky Eckett; her siblings, Robert Deliz and Dolores Elice; and her brother-in-law Ronald Eckett. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine soon to be ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Donations in Maggie's memory may be made to Finger Lakes SPCA of CNY or Hospice of CNY & of the Finger Lakes.
