He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Bennett and Helen Bennett (Cole); his wife Sandra; his sons, Michael and Mark Bennett; and his siblings, Thea, Miles and Max.
He is survived by: his children, Ed Bennett (Debbie) of Owasco, Kelly Thurston of Montezuma and Todd Bennett (Kathy) of Throop; his grandchildren, Adam (Samantha), Nathan, Cory, Alicia, Jessica (Allyn), Todd Jr. (Tony), Matthew (Mindy) and Nicholas; his great grandchildren, Roman, Camryn, Cayden, Nora and Paige; his sister Nancy Cummings; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Szakalski (Bridget) of Throop, Lynn Parsons of Scipio and Richard Szakalski. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
