She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hewitt and Louise Hewitt (Merchant); her husband Allen L Mitchell of Chaumont, NY; her son-in-law Gary Woods; her brother William Hewitt; and her siblings-in-law, Mary, Rita Hewitt and Joseph Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Roger (Elaine Mitchell), Kay Woods of Springfield, Mass., Susan (Thomas Tanner) and Gail Mitchell of Enfield, CT; her siblings, Virginia Collins and Harvey; and her sister-in-law Joan Hewitt. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
Donations may be made to Three Mile Bay Methodist Church or to the Three Mile Bay Fire Hall.
