He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Adam Hicks and Ella Hicks; his wife Sandra; his children, Michael (Kimberly), Stephanie and Cassandra (Cassie); his grandchildren, Ryan, Jordyn, Patrick and Aela; his sister Claudia Csuka; his daughter Cassie; and his sister Regina Smith. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a donation in his memory to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
