He was predeceased by: his father William V. Spelman; and his brothers, William V. Spelman and Richard P. Spelman. He is survived by: his sons, David G. Spelman and Lawrence P. Spelman (Kathleen); his grandchildren, Ryan, Bradley, Rachael, Kevin, Charlotte and Luke; and his sons, Mark E. Spelman and Charles T. Spelman.
