He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe D'Onofrio and Raffaela D'Onofrio; his son John Paul D'Onofrio; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Samantha, Christopher, Michael, Johna (Joshua), Jennifer (Philip Thomas) and John (Janie).

He is survived by: his sisters, Rosa, Maria Grazia, Gorizia, Elizabeth, Anna and Lucia; his wife Caterina D'Onofrio; his children, Joseph D'Onofrio (Diane) and Raffelina Kesten (Marshall); and his great grandchildren, Sarah and Autumn.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. (575 Columbus Ave, Thornwood, NY 10594). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (29 Cox Ave, Armonk, NY 10504). An entombment was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Ferncliff Cemetery (280 Secor Rd, Hartsdale, NY 10530).
