He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Konrad and Thomas L. Mayer; his wife Helen Tighe Mayer; his brother Thomas Mayer Jr.; his sister-in-law Pat Mayer; and his nephew Thomas Mayer.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Mayer (Joe DePalma), Patrica (Jeff Canger) and Michael Mayer; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Christine Canger, Hailey and Christopher Mayer; his nieces, Janet McHenry and Lorraine Nardi; his nephew Daniel Mayer; and also Dominik.
