He is survived by: his parents, Susan Sottovia Ashford and Billy Ashford; his sister Jessica Ashford; his brother-in-law Tim DeGroat; his niece Evelyn Rose DeGroat; and his grandparents, Poppy Sottovia and Minga Sottovia.
