He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sherwood and Margaret Sherwood (Glennon); his sister-in-law Carolyn Sherwood (Dunleavy); his brother Thomas; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Sherwood (Smith) and Terry Vanderbilt.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Sherwood (Dindl); and his siblings, Michael Sherwood (Kim), Matthew Sherwood, Daniel Sherwood, Anne Sherwood, MaryEllen Vanderbilt and Theresa Schantz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local school trap leagues, school band programs or other youth programs.
