Joyce L. Shampine Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce L. Shampine (Theresa, New York), born in Gouverneur, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Garfield Beckstead and Delia M. Pitre Beckstead; her husband Richard F. Shampine; and her brothers, Paul Beckstead, Walter Beckstead and Richard Beckstead.
She is survived by: her sons, Brennan (Kim Shampine), Vance Shampine of Gouverneur, NY and Bradley Shampine of Antwerp, NY; her brothers-in-law, Virgil Shampine of Antwerp, NY and Jerry Shampine of Massena, NY; her daughter Yvonne Bowman; her children-in-law, Anne Marie Shampine and Stephen McAdam; and her sister Arlene Robbins. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
