He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Roger Lanphear and Ruth Mabel Adams Lanphear; and his children, Mark Lanphear and Lynda Frenyea. He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Furgison Pitts of Antwerp, NY; and his children, Steven Lanphear of Boothwyn, PA, Marcia Moore (Joe) of Selinsgrove, PA, Daniel Lanphear of Basking Ridge, NJ, Ryan Lanphear (Jill) of Watertown, NY, Shawn Lanphear (Rebecca) of Palm Harbor, FL, Alicia Porter (Bob) of Sylvia Lake, NY, Wayne Pitts (Lisa) of Evans Mills, NY, Stephen Pitts (Raechel) of Antwerp, NY and Dale Pitts (Kelly) of Antwerp, NY. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Frederick Bros. Funeral Home (38422 NY-37, Theresa, NY 13691). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
