He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Pitts and Martha Tooly Pitts; his wife Barbara (Colton); his son Jeffrey; and his siblings, Jon, Ralph, Gerald, Edna, Thelma and Helen.
He is survived by: his sisters, Janice Rodriguez and Sandra Pitts; and his children, Jim (Elizabeth Plyter), Wanda Pitts-Sands (Jim), Wendy Pitts (Dan Huddleston) and Juanita Booth (David). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, three step grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
