She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Rosanna Bouchard and John Leo Fortune; her sisters, Marjorie Fortune Sands, Marion Fortune Evans, Elizabeth Fortune Palmer and Catherine Fortune Morrow; and her son-in-law Keith Rudes.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carole Ann Rudes of Philadelphia, NY, Linda Mary (Theodore), Susan Alice Shaffer Hastings (David) and Sally Jo (Daniel); her grandchildren, Bryan Rudes, Amy Rudes (Gifford), Jennifer Rudes (Ehrig), Corey Covell, Dana Thomas, Aaron Shaffer, Ashleigh Shaffer (Simmons), Logan Gundersen and Kelsey Gundersen; and her stepgrandchildren, Christina Shaffer, Jessica Shaffer (Hanley) and Jeremiah Shaffer. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
