It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Ceconi (Tarrytown, New York), born in North Tarrytown, New York, who passed away on January 16, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Giacomo Ceconi and Clara Ceconi; and his siblings, Aldo, Eugene, Giovanna Ceconi (Jenny), Irene Zegarelli and Edith Fratta.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Tuttle; his daughter Amy Ceconi-Cavalieri (Joe); and his grandchildren, Cassandra, Joseph and James Walter.

“Dear barbara & family - i was very sorry to read about walt's passing. Not only was he a great friend, but a very decent person. His tolerance (of my lack of sportmanship) and capabilities as a catcher on our softball team was only exceeded by his family life and devotion towards you, your daughter and three grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by not only a fine family, but an array of friends, yours truly included. Thinking of you at this time - charles (hank) scannell”
