It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Hales (Tarrytown, New York), born in North Tarrytown, New York, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Hales and Phyllis E. Hales; his brother William H. Hales, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Helene Bieliewcz (Honey). He is survived by: his wife Alice Marie; his children, Lianne (Sean), William, Carolyn (Bruce), Thomas Jr. (Jennifer), Terence (Ryan) and Allison (Donald); his sister Phyllis Weaver; his sisters-in-law, Virginia Power and Joan Power; and his grandchildren, Robert Shaw, Michael Shaw, Thomas Wilson, Christopher Hales Wilson, Nicholas Wilson, Thomas Hales III, William Hales, Teagan Hales and Althea Marie Gheen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tom's name may be made directly to: University of Maryland Medical Center, Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, Iona College, Maria Ferari Children's Hospital and Phelps Memorial Hospital Center. ***In compliance with NYS guidelines, social distancing and face masks will be required and capacity may be limited.
