She was predeceased by: her parents, Anand Madan and Janak Madan. She is survived by: her siblings, Sudhir, Sunil, Sanjeev, Savita, Veena, Suneeta and Priya; her husband Kewal Puri; her children, Rajeev, Monica and Anjali; her grandchildren, Maya, Nikian, Nehla, Aria, Krishan, Alina, Alisha, Devin and Niam; and also Dharam Swarup Madan. She is also survived by six siblings and many extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dwyer & Michaels Funeral Home (90 N Broadway, Tarrytown, NY 10591).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations in Rajesh's memory be made to Habitat for Humanity or World Central Kitchen, two organizations that reflect her lifelong commitment to helping others.
