He was predeceased by: his brother Maurice. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Madden D'Eufemia; his children, Michael Schatzel (Mary Ann) of Salisbury, MA and Tara Schatzel (Robert) of Tarrytown; his grandsons, John, Patrick, Ryan and Matthew; and his sisters, Phyl Adams of Tarrytown and Ava Nielson of Maryland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
