He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovanni Di Lella and Giovanna Iademarco; his brother Antonio; and his sisters-in-law, Angela and Yolanda (Pasquale).
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his daughter Antonietta; his son-in-law Richard Caldropoli; his grandchildren, Mark and Julia; and his sisters-in-law, Annunziata and Elisa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
