Though Dana Michelle may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dana Michelle touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her parents, Monir Barakat and Hayat Barakat; her children, Maya and Rafael; and her brother Sam Barakat (Walid Khoury). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. John Paul II Church (199 N Broadway, Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Greenwood Union Cemetery (215 North St, Rye, NY 10580).
