He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph DeStefano and Mary DeStefano; his sibling Fausta; and his brother-in-law James Cusack. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his sons, Daniel, Joseph (Tina) and Robert; his siblings, Peter DeStefano (Dorothy), Louis Pagnotta, Mildred, Alfonso Prisco, Michael, Marie and Dorothy; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia, George Dietrich, Nancy Dilts, Eileen, Frank Egan and Helen Bracciodieta. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
