He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Pietanza and Isabella Pietanza; his wife Regina; and his brother Vincenzo Pietanza. He is survived by: his children, Joseph (Kathleen) of Pearl River, NY, Louis, Celia of Staten Island, NY, Lisa Spadaccini (John), Nyack and Angela Mitard (Jacques) of Blauvelt, NY.; his grandchildren, Regina (Mark), Irena (Alvaro), Katherine (Josh), John (Chelsea), Johnny (Cindy), Jennifer (John), Gregory (Chrissy), James (Danielle), Angelica (Rocco) and Margaret; his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Caleb, Jude, Lola, Luca, Johnny, Adriana, Julianna, Vincent, Joseph, Zachary, Archer, Eleanor, Evelyn, Dominic and Alessia; and his sister-in-law Antoinette Pietanza.
