She was predeceased by: her husband Rafael Laracuente. She is survived by: her sister Luz Hernandez (Mario); and her children, Judi Cramer (Tom), Ray (Annette), John (Tina) and Hector Laracuente. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the First Baptist Church of Norfolk.
