He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Brightly (Chappel); his daughter Cindy Lu Brightly of Pittsfield, MA; his granddaughters, Ashley Marie Hilscher of Tempe, AZ and Laura Cains of Fayetteville, NC.; his sister Delia "Bunny" Bjercke of Jefferson, NY; and his sister-in-law Jackie Brightly of Ancram, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
